The infamous Lou Zeldis designed fabulous jewelry while living in Bali. His unique style and quality are admired by collectors around the world. Lou died in 2011, but his studio continues to create his designs. I purchased these hand carved wooden beads in Tucson, Arizona. I took them to my studio in Jaipur, India and restrung them with Modern Moghul diamond beads and a diamond clasp. These are the perfect combination of raw vs refined, a theme I have cultivated in my architectural practice with great success. These can be worn with jeans or with a formal gown or tuxedo. I venture to say that Lou would be pleased.
