In a dusty stall in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar, I found a basket of old hand made tassels. These beaded beauties traditionally adorned doorways in tents, or on camel blankets and elephants. I sorted through the collection looking for the most beautiful in the best condition. My husband, who was with me, wandered off to let me take my time. This was one of the best in the basket. It is 10 inches of bohemian beauty. I suggest wearing this around your waist or as a pendant around your neck. Repurposing treasures is one of life's true pleasures.
