I love to collect coins, particularly old coins. Indian rupee coins issued after 1857 were under the authority of the monarch, as India became part of the British Empire. Portraits of Queen Victoria, also known as "Empress of India", Edward VII, George V and George VI adorned these coins from 1862 thru 1947.
I have collected these for years while traveling throughout India. These sterling silver coins are a slice of history. I surrounded each coin with diamonds (I couldn't resist) and added a large diamond bale. The coin is 1-1/2 inches in diameter. I often wear my coin with other charms and pendants I have found during my travels around the world.
